The Chris Heintz-designed STOL CH 701 was developed in the 1980's as an "off-airport" short take-off and landing kit aircraft. Among other features, the type offers fixed leading-edge slats for high lift, full-span flaperons (both ailerons and flaps), an all-flying rudder - alongside durable, all-metal construction. This example is well-equipped with EFIS / EMS and backup instruments, GPS and transponder.
