Part 135 Air Charter /Air Taxi business seeks new HOFO business partner Established (over 3 decades) Air charter business seeks experienced Head of Flight Operations (HOFO) for short-medium range air charter services in Western Australia based from Perth. After many years of dedicated service and stewardship of a household name in Perth Air charter, the current HOFO seeks to exit the business for retirement. The business flys over 3000 people per year on micro charter routes in Western Australia and is trending upwards.
The business is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of FlyOnE Pty Ltd (FOE) and general management, asset management, systems, payments and booking leads are all handled by FlyOnE consultancy services. FOE seeks to find a new HOFO that can partner in the business, to have a vested interest in the ongoing growth and refinement of short-medium range Air Charter in Western Australia. The HOFO business partnership options are versatile, from upfront investment in the business to ongoing vested shares. The correct applicant will have a passion for future-focused technologies, integrating renewable energy practices to General Aviation, be willing to adopt new operational practices for increased customer experience, reduced operational complexity, ease of operations, increased safety and reduced emissions and maintenance costs. The expected growth rate of the business under the stewardship of FOE is approx. 35% CAGR which is in line with our last few years general growth of customer uptake and services expansion. The business currently operates 2 x 6 seat and 2 x 4 seat single prop non-electric aircaft. Additionally, FOE has a pipeline of 4 and 5-seat GA electric aircraft that will be integrated to the business in the coming years as we continue to increase the volume of operations. The business has direct integration to supporting flight schools that FOE also has a vested interest in, these schools provide a steady flow of new day VFR CPL graduates for seasonal induction to Air Charter operations. Some of the existing CPL pilots assist with this process in the off-season as a part of the pilot training force in the FOE electric aircraft training fleet.
FOE is considering all applicants local and international, that can meet and exceed the HOFO requirements as well as be a champion for change and integration of new technologies and practices to support and grow the future of air charter in Australia and beyond.
