This aircraft is been used for private transport and not been hired out. It is based at a country airport in Qld, and is always hangared. When the fuel tanks were recently removed, in compliance with an AD, and was not only found to be corrosion free but to be corrosion treated from the factory. The engine has had a bulk strip in 2019 to repair the crankcase. It was fitted with a new camshaft, lifters, and rod bolts. It has about 300hrs to run and then on condition--however given the recent engine work, the on condition period could expected to be greater than normal. The propellor has reached its 10yr limit and is currently being overhauled; when reinstalled will have 2000hrs/10yrs to run. This aircraft comfortably cruises at 130kts and climbs at 1000ft/min, making it a comparable performer to a Cessna 182.Also, this Pathfinder is fitted with long range tanks (main and tip tanks) and has an endurance of over 5hrs. This aircraft would probably suit someone looking for a machine for business or work use, which requires both endurance and load carrying capacity. I don't have time to waste, so genuine buyers need only apply.
