The original 180HP, CSU / retractable gear 'Arrow' was offered to the market in 1967. After the sales success of the original model, a 1972 Arrow II model was introduced, offering more room for the rear passengers (5" fuselage extension). In 1977 the square wing design was introduced in thew Arrow III to reduce drag - and the horizontal stabilizer was extended for better slow-speed handling. Two years later, Piper marketed the all-new Piper Arrow IV 201RT featuring a T-Tail design with a 3-bladed propeller; arguably the model that offered the type it's renowned ramp presence - and with the best performance in the PA-28 range. This beautifully presented, low-hour aircraft offers the private IFR pilot exceptional avionics and extra equipment, combined with a newly overhauled engine and propeller combination, recently completed spar inspections, laminar speed mods - and a number of other features. Immaculately maintained, always hangared and without accident history, this is one of the best-kept examples flying in this country today.
