It is constructed with an all metal wing aerodynamically designed for slow flight as well as a decent cruising speed of 95 knots. The wing incorporates self-deploying leading edge slats and long span fowler flaps. This allows for a stall speed below 30 knots (40° flap), giving it a take off roll of 125m and ground roll of 80m. Its climb rate is 1000 fpm. The Rotax 914 is a turbo charged, four-stroke, four-cylinder 115 hp engine. Its combination of Alaskan bush wheels with the tail wheel using a hydraulic shock will lessen any aggressive off airport landings. This aircraft was designed and built from the beginning as the Ultimate Bush Plane. |
