Can be converted to VH registration and can also be flown in controlled airspace on its current RAAus registration. 60 kW electric motor with fixed pitch 3-blade composite prop. Virtually silent operation and zero emissions. Very easy to fly (just one power lever and an on/off switch) and handles just like the Rotax-powered ALPHA except quieter and smoother! Cruise 85 kts @ 20 kW. Installed battery capacity 20 kWh. Endurance approx. 45 min + 30 min reserve. Useful load 169 kg. Includes three-phase 20 kW charger for charging time of roughly 60 min between flights of 45 min duration. The charger can be run off a standard portable generator if needed for cross-country flights. Note no single-phase charger is included (but can be purchased from Pipistrel).
