Aeroprakt A22 with amphibious glass/ Kevlar waterborne float system. Factory built. This aircraft is the only one of its type in Australia and is very rare. It has been designed correctly to provide the right balance in the air and on the water and is not just an aircraft with floats added as is the case with many. It allows you to travel to almost anywhere. The cockpit offers extensive viewing out of the wide expanse of window area. Short take off and landings give this aircraft an exciting appeal with short takeoffs from the water or land even with 2 occupants. It is very easy and relaxing to fly and stable to land both on the runway or the water. Fuel burn is approx 16 LPH. Cruise at 100 kts. Can be flown without any endorsement from runways. Registered under RA Australia which allows the owner to do a simple online test and gain approval to do self maintenance on the aircraft which keeps cost super low.
