1946 Cessna 140

You would be hard pressed to find a better example of a 140.

Near perfect condition inside and out, it presents perfectly.

I would love to keep her, however an opportunity to head to Canada and fly floats has come up, and unfortunately, I cannot afford to let her sit for 2 years.

It gets off the ground surprisingly quick for a little 140, no doubt helped by the upgraded engine and climb pitched prop. (Unfortunately it does lose a little in the cruise, sitting at roughly 85-90knt depending on power setting.)

Over the 100hrs i have put on it since buying it, it has used roughly 1 quart every 4hrs of flight.

Absolutely no issues to speak of, starts immediately every time.

The only money I have had to spend on it aside from fuel and oil, was a replacement battery after I left the master switch on over a weekend.

Not a cross country plane by any means, it took me 11hrs to fly from Adelaide to Coffs Harbour, but guaranteed to put a smile on your face the entire time you're flying.

I believe it is priced for a quick sale, however any genuine buyers are welcome to view the plane and talk price after inspection.
