For sale is a substantially completed Arion Lightning XS experimental kit aircraft. It is complete, firewall aft with the exception of the panel. It was built under the Arion factory build assist program and all finishing, interior and painting were completed by Arion at their facility in Shelbyville. This aircraft was to be used as a demonstrator for an alternative engine that is not yet ready for integration which is why it is not fitted with an engine, nor panel at this stage. This means that both the engine bay and the panel are a blank canvas that the new owner can tailor to their specific preferences. These kits sell for US$44,000 / around A$70,000 ex the factory.
