Step into the cockpit of history with this beautifully preserved De Havilland Tiger Moth, an aircraft that played a pivotal role in training countless RAAF pilots during World War II. This particular aircraft started life with the Royal Australian Air Force as A17-504 where it served at numerous bases throughout Victoria & New South Wales during WW2. Like many Tiger Moth's during the war, this aircraft suffered a landing accident in October 1942, but was returned to service after repairs. Following the war, this plane has served numerous owners in various roles. Most recently this machine has been used as a joy flight aircraft, and is in Charter category. Please note that this plane has not flown since June 2021, but the engine has been ran frequently, starts on the first or second stroke, and should not present too many difficulties to get airworthy again.
