$120,000 ono. Hangared at Mittagong airfield, NSW, "Maiden China" has flown as part of Australia's premier Formation Aerobatic display team, the "Russian Roolettes" for the past ten years. Maiden China set the standard for Nanchangs in Australia with the installation of a Russian M14-P 360hp engine (upgraded from the Chinese Housai 285hp), camouflage paint scheme and Nose art. Many other Changs have subsequently followed Maiden China's lead.
For those that know the Yak-52, this aircraft will feel noticeably more slippery and smooth, a major plus for carrying passengers, as well as longer range (2 hrs +) and higher cruise speed (140 kts normal, 150+ kts max continuous).
New high performance propellor and overhauled hub fitted May 2021 during annual. Long Life remaining on all major components: engine (490 hours flown of 2250 hours life), propellor and hub, stratoflex hoses & air bottles.
Full logbooks, currently maintained by Luskintyre Aircraft Restorations. Aircraft comes with matching camouflaged canopy cover. Flyaway kit and spares also available.
