This is a great Rans S-7 tail wheel aircraft. It is constructed with welded steel tube cockpit, with a bolted aluminum tube rear fuselage, wing and tail surfaces all covered in dope and fabric. The cockpit is fitted with the standard steam gauges with an Icom VHF radio and Lowrance Airmap GPS on the side. The maximum take-off weight is 544 kg. The empty weight is 318 kg. It holds 69 litres of usable fuel and burns approximately 18 litres per hour. It will cruise at 100 knots and stall at 36 knots. These are a great, cost effective aircraft for training in a tail wheel. It is also a great STOL aircraft for those challenging bush strips. |
