The J-430 was designed to compete with the older Cessna 172 design, offering light, composite construction, strut-braced wings with winglets, an economical 120HP engine, 44 inch cabin width in an easy-to-manufacture kit.

This one was built by the previous owner, packed with extra value; a freshly overhauled engine, new Airmaster variable pitch propeller, liquid-cooled Rotec heads, and full frame Ballistic chute!

Engine History:

Engine wear prior to fitting of liquid cooled heads meant engine still had excessive oil consumption – decision made by Owner to have top end overhauled. Bottom end crankshaft and bearings inspected during overhaul and found to be still well within tolerances. Engine overhaul by Rod Bunbury, QLD Aircraft Service & Maintenance.
