+++ UNDER CONTRACT +++ As the predecessor to the C-150, the popular two-seat Cessna 140 started production just after WWII ended, and concluded in 1951. Originally the type was powered with the 85HP Continental C-85-12(F) or optioned with the 90HP C-90-12(F). It was known for its stable flight characteristics - and as a solid teaching platform for tailwheel students to learn their new craft. This 100HP-powered aircraft is arguably one of the very best examples in Australia with only 3200 hours of total time and an excellent maintenance history. Up close it's difficult to fault both inside and out - and the dash is just the way it should be, almost like the airplane that rolled off the Cessna Factory floor on the 5th of April, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas. An inspection here will not disappoint if you're looking for a rare example (either registered in 'VH' or 'RAAus') that would otherwise cost significantly more to import and then fly in Australia. |
