Comments
Truly a "warbird" - it was in Berlin twice. Extensively overhauled/re-built by Tim Becroft (stripped back/re-painted, new fabric, new tie bars, new canopy glazing, battery isolation relay, damaged components replaced etc) completed in 2003. Although intended as a standard Chipmunk it has the following features: 1. Slick magnetos 2.Metal 12 gallon tanks 3. Scott tailwheel and tire 4. 24V alternator and solid state voltage regulator

Engine Specifications
Gipsy-Major 10/Mk.2. Rebuilt by Borg Sorensen in 2002, has 800 hours. Starts easily, a smooth runner and (by G-M standards at least) a clean engine. Propeller: Fairey-Reed 66573X with 580 hrs since new.

9.5/10. All instruments serviceable (except for rear floor-mounted compass - needs a new corrector), features a "G"-meter, volt/ammeter & authentic stop-watch. Has an additional airscoop connected to an eye-ball vent below the panel, a USB port (for iPad etc), fire extinguisher and late-style 5 point harness.

Exterior
9.5/10. Paintwork (authentic/accurate c.1972 scheme) and fabric in excellent condition. Next u/c castings X-Ray due in 2032 (i.e. no cracks).

Additional Features
Comes with an overnight kit - "The Claw" stakes, tie-down straps, pitot cover, "Bruce's" canopy cover, rudder cleat, original internal control lock, canopy lock and rubber chocks. Always hangared. All AD's up to date. Maintained to the highest standards, which is reflected in the aircraft's condition.
