The CPO Program was initiated in 2016 and has been a massive success. It is successful to the point that we cannot maintain an inventory of these aircraft. A remanufactured CPO Diamond gives the purchaser a new aircraft buying experience for a fraction of the price of a new aircraft. Aircraft are rebuilt, with new engines and props, repainted and have their maintenance zeroed out. New interiors are fitted, along with the customer's choice of exterior design. A CPO aircraft is issued with a certificate by Diamond to confirm it has been remanufactured which will stay on file at Diamond, along with a copy in the aircraft specific technical records. The aircraft go through a minimum of 1000 hr inspection, per the aircraft Inspection Requirements contained in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. With waiting lists out to two years on new aircraft, Utility Air are delighted to have had the foresight to order a number of CPO aircraft which are available ex-Factory in a timely fashion.
