The KR-2 is the result of development of the highly efficient, single-seat KR-1 sport plane and set the standard for foam & fibreglass construction. With an efficient (even frugal) and reliable VW Beetle engine, excellent low-speed manners and a very fast cruise, thousands of kits were send across the world, constructed in wood and glass, to create a strong, light and fast airframe - with one having been flown from the UK to Australia!
