Introducing the Safari XL STL… well what does all those letters mean? Safari being the original foundation design, with a twist. A large quantity of carbon fibre is used in the interior and exterior to weight save approximately 18KG, The XL variant is for those seeking a roomier bush plane, wider / taller and longer. The XL is specifically built to accommodate the all new STL wings. The STL wings are longer in wingspan and chord line, with a newly designed profile, carbon fibre and a larger fuel capacity. The STL wing is not only slower for STOL flying it is also faster in cruise, go figure.. Available as Complete kit or Quick Build Kit only (no factory built models yet). The Safari XL STL is the perfect bush plane with a Rotax 915is or better 916is. The Safari XL STL is in a league of its own in both looks and performance.
