McCauley Constant Speed Propeller — This Propellor recently removed from our aircraft (Cessna 182 RG 1978 Model, serial number 047) is for sale with a purpose made tough transport timber container (for you to keep) and a full history Log Book. The only reason for the removal is a change of engine to the 260HP IO-540 Lycoming which needed a new three blade propellor to soak up the extra horses. The Propeller is available, as is, or with optional Backing Plate & Polished Prop Spinner. I also have a serviceable, plastic wrapped, CSU that suits the propellor which was removed at the same time as the engine change.
Price for the complete bundle — Two Blade Propellor, Backing Plate, Polished Prop Spinner and CSU = $12,400 Plus GST. Or, Polished Prop Spinner and backing plate only = $ 1500 Plus GST. Or, CSU only = $1200 Plus GST.
The propellor has a TBO of 1500 hours and is not subject to calendar time restrictions. Our aircraft has flown 385.1 hours on this prop since last overhaul, leaving a whopping 1114.9 hours of useable flight time to propel your aircraft across the wild blue yonder.
