This MGL ASI-5 Electronic Air Speed Indicator has just been removed from my aircraft in perfect working order. It fits a 3.125" standard instrument panel hole and would be ideal for experiment/homebuilt category aircraft as it is non TSO'd. It is a sunlight readable instrument that provides a wide range airspeed indication in both digital and analog tape formats. Airspeed is based on the pressure generated by a pitot tube system and a static port is provided as well for use in high speed aircraft. In addition, the ASI-5 provides a flight timer since takeoff and records the maximum airspeed reached. This instrument is selling for less than half price and has only seen 12 months use in a Vans Aircraft. Perfect working condition. |
