Utility Air announces first allocation of DA50 RG positions for Australia and New Zealand

Utility Air Pty Ltd ("Utility Air"), exclusive Distributor for Diamond Aircraft in the region, has announced that it has secured the first DA50 RG slots to be sold outside of North America and Europe. These aircraft will be made immediately available to customers in Australian and New Zealand with Deliveries beginning in 2024.

Utility Air's Managing Director, Stephen Pembro was effusive about the new product. "The Diamond DA50 RG is the aircraft we've been waiting for. It will allow us to reach the owners of high performance piston singles who have been unavailable to us before." Pembro continued "We are delighted to be able to offer this 300HP retractable gear aircraft. It will do everything that a customer could desire, at a fraction of the operating cost of our competitors."

Utility Air already has a significant amount of interest in the aircraft, which is a 21st century interpretation of the classic owner flown large piston single.

John Oppenheim, Director of Utility Air, added "Having experienced the DA50 RG in both Austria and Canada recently, I am certain the class leading cabin and simple single lever power controls will appeal in our region. The aircraft is attractive, fast and environmentally friendly. Consuming only 9 gal/h of Jet A1 makes similar Avgas powered aircraft seem like dinosaurs."

Utility Air encourages any customers interested in securing 2024 positions on these aircraft to contact the company as soon as possible.

The DA50 RG spoils pilots and passengers alike: You will love the sound the landing gear makes as the wheels retract, you will utterly enjoy the moment the aircraft accelerates and appreciate the aerodynamic efficiency.

And yes, you and your plane will look really cool while you and your passengers enjoy everything the extra-large cabin is offering you – just like the cabin of our marvelous twin-engine DA62: generous front seats with adjustable backrests, a 60/40 split folding three seat second row bench, easy access through the large gull wing doors and cargo door and exceptional leg, shoulder and head room. And your baggage is safely stowed in the rear of the cabin, offering you maximum loading capability for any kind of mission.

Luxury features abound throughout, including premium interiors in several styles, colors and materials, LED interior lighting and many optional features, such as removable right-hand control stick, oxygen system, electric air conditioning, TKS de-icing system, Garmin GCU 476 keypad or a built-in tablet mount.

The fully integrated Garmin G1000NXi flight deck with standard 3-axis GFC700 Automated Flight Control System and yaw damper and Electronic Stability and Protection, is complemented by a long list of avionics options to perfectly suit your mission. Available are Traffic Alerting, Synthetic Vision, and much more. The Line Replaceable Units (LRU's) are located in a dedicated and externally accessible forward avionics bay, for ease of maintenance and trouble shooting.

The Garmin GCU 476 alphanumeric keypad is an available option in the DA50 RG and makes programming the Garmin G1000 NXi easier than ever.
